![]() ![]() I/WE NOW YOU ARE ON A CLOSED END LEASE!!! That type lease has not only not been practiced in the industry for 20 years but they frown on it because it is NEVER GOOD FOR THE CUSTOMER OR IN THEIR BEST INTERESTS…. “Anybody ever walks out of a Walmart and somebody BACKED INTO YOUR CAR AND LEFT? “ Well, let me cut to the chase and explain why they came to Charlotte, from WInston Salem and towed my car while at the hospital with my mother. I could either give them $500.00 and they would “ roll me back into my original vehicle or pay whatever else, plus their $1000 store credit ( don’t hold me to the $ number can’t remember off the top of my head lol I STILL HAVE THE RECORDINGS FOR Y'ALL ) but that if I paid more they would put me into a new vehicle? Well, that’s great and all but I liked my car that needed new tires, a window motor for the passenger side and some body work done on the rear quarter panel. Messages 1 thru 3 were somewhat pleasant. In my mind I thought, “ Well, I completed the 24 months payments even though after a year I offered to pay the whole thing off in full but was denied and of course you’ll hear my options left via voicemail left for me. Back in January I explained as desperately as I could to Brittany and other staff members my situation with family. After undergoing three surgeries and one of which was an aortic bypass surgery we did not see coming. My mother was released from a post-surgery rehab facility here in Charlotte, NC yesterday. I also have in my possession a letter by several dealerships who have reviewed the lease agreement I have and signed with Benchmark and they, “ ABSOLUTELY FROWN ON PEOPLE LIKE BENCHMARK AND EXPLAIN WHY and what THEY DID TO ME AND DOING TO YOU!” I am a customer of Benchmark that completed the 24 full months payments at almost $400.00 a month on what I was told was “a lease option to purchase agreement.” Please note I have voicemail recordings, text message communication with a former employee, witnesses at a Toyota dealership heard the original voicemail left by a manager Brittany on my mobile phone. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING WITH BENCHMARK! If Benchmark does not specialize in mechanical repairs for "walk in business", they should let you know. My resolution is splitting the $894.50 invoice. The reason for this is so this business in East Bend can work on their cars that they sell in Winston Salem. ![]() Benchmark is a car sales business, yet they just recently bought out first choice auto in East Bend. What I don't like is I basically paid $600 for parts and labor and nothing was fixed. I talked with the "manager" who is Mark H*****, who also owns ****** *********** ****** in East Bend, and he told me that there was nothing they could do for me. ![]() I was led to believe that the VTEC solenoid replacement would take care of the issue with the tachometer. The vehicle still has the same engine issue as before, as well as the check engine light is still on. This was to fix the check engine light (on) as well as the tachometer fluctuating and the engine losing power, as well as 2 front break rotors and one break pad. Benchmark (out of East Bend, mechanics business Benchmark bought) charged me $894.50on 6/23/22. ![]()
